Description of Big Sky:

With a top elevation of 10,900 feet, Big Sky, Montana, earns its name. Nestled in the high country about one hour from Bozeman Airport, Big Sky is a resort for the entire family. With high speed detachable gondolas, chairlifts, and a new aerial tram, big sky has the capacity to accommodate over 11,000 skiers per hour, and with a ski terrain of over 65 miles spread out by 20% beginner, 50% intermediate, and 30% expert, Big Sky will keep you skiing all day. When you are ready to take a break, there are restaurants right at the base area for your comfort and convenience. Combined with the ambience of a western mining town, Big Sky will allow you to relax and enjoy the skiing without the problem of overcrowding.
