Kitzbuhel is a resort dedicated not only to skiing but also to everything that goes along with skiing. It's slopes are vast with more than 50 lifts, it's shops are packed with all sorts of beautiful items, while it's bars and cafes are packed with all kinds of beautiful people, it's hotels offer everything from the most modest to the most deluxe with private saunas and fireplaces, and the night -- never ends. It is a truly charming Tyrolean resort with cobblestone streets and painted buildings with the main part of town surrounded, in part, by the 12th century stone wall so common to the villages of the period.

It's most famous time, of course, comes during Hahnenkamm race week wen the fastest skiers as well as other fast people converge on this quaint village. Regular skiers, however will find more than enough to satisfy their urge to test their skills on the many runs located in the 5 main ski areas surrounding the village. For the intermediate it is a paradise.Long tree-lined runs provide picture perfect settings and make for great memories. For the experts, some of the most extensive mogul runs in Europe can be found here. For the beginners, Kizbuhel's "Red Devils" ski school will provide extensive instructions in all languages. In short, all levels of skiers will be happy here.

Additional activities in Kitzbuhel would include horse-drawn sleigh rides, ice skating, curling, swimming in the indoor pool, indoor tennis, bowling, and even theatres with English-speaking movies. Through our guides in Kitzbuhel, you can arrange a trip to Italy for shopping or join with one of our groups going o Venice for the day.
