About The Resort
Grandvalira is a ski resort located in the Pyrenees within the Principality of Andorra , it is especially oriented towards the practice of alpine skiing, it occupies a wide area that goes from the center of the country and extends to the east until it reaches the border with France . Grandvalira is the largest ski area in the Pyrenees , with more than 8.6 miles of slopes. It currently has 7 different accesses to tracks along the Andorran General Highway 2 or the France highway, following the course of the Valira de Oriente river from which it takes its name.
The Pal Arinsal resort is in a village (Arinsal village) in Andorra, set at an altitude of between 5085 and 8400 feet, close to the border with Spain at Tor, Pallars. Arinsal had its first ski lifts installed all the way back in 1973. The resort, in the winter, offers skiing and snowboarding for beginners, as well as a good selection of runs for intermediates.
