About The Resort
Kitzbühel is a small Alpine town east of Innsbruck, and just 2 hours from Munich airport, in the western Austrian province of Tyrol. It's a wonderful winter resort, known for the annual Hahnenkamm downhill race. Lots of shops and cafes line the streets of its medieval center, just steps from all of the hotels.
Kitzbuhel is known by many as the best skiing area in the world. It offers 233 kilometers of downhill skiing with every degree of difficulty, 57 lifts, 60 inns and huts in the skiing area, and up to 200 days of skiing pleasure a year. Three toboggan runs, freshly groomed cross-country ski trails every day, countless winter hiking trails also on the mountain, as well as a varied weekly program round out the vacation offerings.
